Pleasant and safe diving in Mirko Diving Centre is facilitated by two ships, 11 and 12 m long and fitted with powerful engines. The ships are equipped with a DAN oxygen set, a WHF radio station, a cell phone, a kitchen, a toilette, a supply of fresh water and heating (even though it is rarely needed and then only in winter) –which guarantee safe and pleasant diving.
The divers usually set off to sea at 10 AM. They can choose to dive once or twice. If diving twice, every diver normally carries two tanks. After arriving to the diving location (which takes between 20 min. and 1 hour), the divers put on wet suits, dive and then take 1,5 hrs rest – during which time they can swim, sunbathe, have a snack, or even a picnic on a beach. After that, they go for a second dive at another location, and return to base at 4 PM approx.
If diving once, the divers arrive to the diving spot, put on wet suits, dive and return to base.
After returning to base, everyone can wash their wet suit in fresh water and store it the Centre’s storage room until next time.
The Centre has over 20 sets of diving equipment, 40 wet suits, 400 kg of lead and over 50 oxygen tanks available to rent.

The diversity of Rab and its surrounding islands, Pag, Cres, Čutin and Goli, guarantees safe and pleasant diving, for experienced divers and beginners alike – especially the island of Čutin, as many professional divers find its submarine world to be the most beautiful in the whole of Mediterranean. The most locations are explored by anchoring a ship near the shore. The sea is calm, without chop and currents. The depth underneath a ship is 3-5 m, with beautiful corals and sea organisms, after which there is a sheer wall down to 40-60 m of depth, with caves and chasms – so everyone can choose just the right depth for themselves. The walls are a home to gorgonias, anemonae, sponges and submarine vegetation, while caves and chasms are full of crabs and fish: the sheepshead bream, the two-stripped bream, the octopus, the conger eel, the dogfish, the grouper and many others.
